Every attack on our Second Amendment freedoms makes me angry, because I know that it will do nothing to stop crime but will be great at disarming Hoosiers and the American people.

But some gun control bills are more hypocritical than others.

SB-24, filed by Senator Lonnie Randolph, is one of those bills.

Senate Bill 24 makes it a crime for Hoosiers aged 18-20 to buy certain kinds of firearms. Not because they are criminals, just because Senator Randolph thinks they are too young.

In other words, Randolph thinks that it’s fine for a Hoosier to enlist in the military and fight for our country at age 18, 19, or 20. But he won’t let you carry a firearm here at home.

Randolph’s arrogance is sickening.

In addition to all of this, the federal courts have recently ruled that banning American citizens aged 18-21 is a violation of the Supreme Court’s Bruen decision from 2022.
