The Second Amendment Preservation Act (SAPA) states that Indiana is a sovereign state, and it prevents the federal government from using our cops to enforce federal gun control laws! And if a department violates SAPA, Hoosiers can sue that department in civil court!
Since other states have had their SAPA laws blocked in federal court, we were able to tailor our legislation to make sure our language will survive a court challenge.
With Biden out of the White House, now is the time to get this done!
That’s because Trump’s Department of Justice won’t sue the State of Indiana to block the enforcement of this law once we pass it! This is the perfect opportunity for gun owners!
