Petition to: The Members of the Indiana State Legislature

Whereas: SB-66 would institute a statewide ban on AR-15s as well as a statewide gun registry, making felons out of countless Hoosiers while doing nothing to stop violent criminals; and

Whereas: SB-95 would destroy Indiana’s state pre-emption law, allowing cities like Indianapolis to enact their own gun control laws, ensnaring innocent Hoosiers while aiding criminals; and

Whereas: SB-24 would raise the age on when law-abiding Hoosiers could buy a long gun from 18 to 21, meaning that a Hoosier could defend themselves in the military, but not here in Indiana; and

Whereas: SB-26 would make it a felony crime to carry a firearm while voting, meaning that while exercising our right to vote we’d not be able to exercise our right to keep and bear arms.

Therefore: As a voter in your district, I insist that you VOTE NO on the entire gun control agenda on the move in Indy as it won’t do anything to stop violent criminals but will make felons out of countless law abiding Hoosiers! The Indiana Firearms Coalition will tell me how you vote.
